About Us and the Position: 

VASE, based in New Haven, CT, is a Construction Management and Real Estate Development Company specializing in new construction, renovation, and the alteration of existing buildings and infrastructure, and serving clients statewide. VASE is currently looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Construction Project Engineer to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction project management and possess a strong understanding of various construction software tools.

What You’ll Bring to VASE/ Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion

  • Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Develop project schedules and timelines using tools such as Prolog, ProCore, and Primavera

  • Assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes

  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications

  • Utilize software like Bluebeam, Civil 3D for project coordination and documentation

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Prolog, ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera, Civil 3D

  • Strong understanding of construction site operations

  • Experience in plan/ spec reading, project scheduling and construction estimating

  • Excellent project coordination skills

  • Knowledge of construction management principles
