Description:
VASE is seeking a Junior Estimator/ Project Engineer for our construction projects. Some construction experience and internship in field operations are necessary to fulfill this job, which requires strong communication between the business and the working team.
Responsibilities:
Learn construction estimating by working closely with our Senior Estimator and President.
Learn to analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Learn bidding and procurement processes, preconstruction services, constructability pricing, value engineering, logistics, bonds licenses, insurance, and permits.
Manage project documents, including multiple bids, ongoing construction projects/ documentation, submittals, meeting agendas/ minutes, and safety manuals.
Learn/ provide Procore management support. Get Procore certified.
Provide office, and field support to the President and Operations team.
Assist in overseeing all aspects of construction work to maintain the highest quality and safety.
Assist in directing the activities of subcontractors, clients, and other personnel in the field.

Requirements:
College / Advance Degree required (Construction/ Project Mgmt., Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or related experience)
Some understanding of construction drawings
Previous internship experience preferred
Procore or ability to learn fast
Driver's License (Required)
OSHA 10; 30 (Will offer OSHA training)
Must be a self-starter.
