JOB INFORMATION:

Position Title: Construction Superintendent

DESCRIPTION:

VASE is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee development of ongoing construction project. Solid experience in field operations and project administration is necessary to fulfill this job, which requires strong communication between the business and the working team. This position requires frequent walking, climbing, and bending to check walls and other structures. Previous construction experience is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, direct, and inspect all aspects of construction work to maintain the highest level of quality.

• Direct the activities of construction workers, supervisor, and other personnel in the field independent from the main office.

• Establish and enforce safety rules and regulations to minimize accidents and damages to both people and property.

• Calculate estimates for materials needed for construction projects.

• Prepare project plans for new construction projects.

• Interpret blueprints.

• Report to the project manager or client on the progress of the work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Atleast 3 years previous construction experience

• Driver's License (Required)

• OSHA 10; 30

• Must be a self-starter

• Must be based in Connecticut
