VASE achieves CTDOT DBE Certification
VASE Management, a leading provider of consulting and project management services in Connecticut, has successfully obtained Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification from the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT). This certification will allow VASE to offer its expertise in new building construction, renovation, alteration of existing buildings, and architectural services to a wider range of projects in the state.
The DBE certification, awarded on September 26, recognizes VASE's capabilities in the following NAIC (North American Industry Classification System) codes: 541310 (Architectural Services), 238390 (Residential Building Construction), 238990 (Other Building Construction), and 236118 (Highway and Street Construction). This certification positions VASE as a qualified and eligible contractor for federally funded transportation projects in Connecticut.
The CTDOT's DBE program aims to address historical and ongoing discrimination faced by minority-owned and women-owned businesses in the transportation industry. By providing these businesses with equal opportunities to compete for government contracts, the program seeks to create a more equitable and inclusive business environment.
With DBE certification, VASE is now better equipped to contribute to the development of transportation infrastructure projects in Connecticut. The company's expertise, combined with its commitment to diversity and inclusion, makes it a valuable partner for government agencies and private clients alike.
