Estimating Capacity
Preparation of detailed estimates (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction document).
Assembles the estimate including general conditions, special conditions, insurance, and bond
Prepare and analyze cost models during design development stages.
Assure that the estimates are accurate, complete, and reflect the actual requirements of the project. This includes assuring that there are an adequate number of qualified and sound subcontractor proposals received and evaluated.
Assure that potential risk factors have been evaluated and reviewed with upper management.
Maintain subcontractor evaluations.
Assemble the pre-construction material for presentation purposes to the owner (i.e.: Design Development Estimates or Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Proposals, etc.)
