VASE Management (General Contractor), on behalf of the state of Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH), assisted homeowners with recovery from Hurricane Sandy by rehabilitating, reconstructing and mitigating 37 residential structures in compliance with all applicable local, federal, and state statutory requirements.

Construction included single and small multi-family housing projects damaged by Hurricane Sandy located in Fairfield, New Haven, New London and/or Middlesex Counties, as well as the Mashantucket-Pequot Reservation. The total construction cost, as of 8/1/19, has come to approximately $71.8 million dollars in addition to $66 million through a second tranche including public and private funds.
